  13. Since you are using WinFaxPro 4.0 I assume you are using Windows 95.

  15. Have you tried sending ATI3 command from WinComm?
  16. Have you checked in Control Panel, System.Modem
  17. if your USR Vi is installed and works well?

  19. Are you sure no other comm software is already loaded ?

  21. Your modem may be using a Com port address or IRQ
  22. that is already used by another peripheral.
